What we collect
Notch collects the media entries you log — title, type, date, rating, runtime, genre, and related metadata — along with your Firebase account identifier. If you enable the public report, your username and entries are readable at your report URL.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the app: storing your log, generating your report, and syncing across your devices. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or analytics.
Third-party services
Notch uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage, TMDB for movie and TV metadata, Open Library for book metadata, and RAWG for video game metadata. Each service’s own privacy policy applies to data you send them through the app.
Your choices
You can make your report private at any time from the Account tab. You can delete your account — and all associated data — from the Account tab. Deletion is permanent.
